"Little giant" sets record at hospital

That was one of the headlines by The New Sunday Times, Nov 09 on page 4.

So the baby was delivered in Hospital Sultanah Bahiyah, Alor Star, by C-section, birth weight 5.32kg with the initial estimated fetal weight of 3.5kg. Other important maternal conditions ware not stated. (Medical informations are confidential anyways)

Its weird. The way they put this story together was as if it was a competition to deliver little giants.

As I was reading that headline, the first thing that i think of was "My goodness. Was she a diabetic? (as most common cause of big baby is baby of diabetic moms) How bad was the control agaknye.." n various complications that the baby might had...

But alhamdulillah.. They said that both the mother and baby were fine.
