i feel that my palms are xtra moist that
i have to have tissue paper with me.
nak wipe it so that its easier to hold the pen.

i feel my throat is so dry..
nak ckp pon tak kuor suara..
nak bfast pon takleh nak telan..
as if there' "a lump in the throat"

i feel that my bowel movement is more 'active'..
mcm nak kene gie toilet selalu tp bila smpi toilet takde ape yg kuar..
false alarm! haishhh..

i feel that i need to 'wee' more frequently..
tho i dont drink much..

yesh.. some of my anxiety symptoms..

so i need to make sure that im prepared for the exam.
supaya boleh kurangkan rase anxious nie.

Nur Alisha Afikah

She's my niece. So last weekend sempat laa nak assess her gross developmental progress. =))

So far for her gross motor:
Icha no longer has head lag when pull to sit.
Instead she lifts her head with full anticipation.
She sits with her back straight, on and off hand off the couch.
She bears full weight on legs when stands with support.
Boleh rolls from supine to prone n prone to supine.
n yesh, the comando crawl! laju gile nak amik her toys.

As for her vision & fine motor:
She's able to reach out her hands for objects.
Transfer toys n stuff from one hand to another.
Dah takde squint juge.
Also able to feed herself wif biscuits dia yg tawar
n slalu buat muka tak puas hati nak makan juge ape org lain makan.
Inferior pincer grasp belom develop lg..

Bercakap?
Still babbling in single syllables.
Kengkadang i heard she said something like 'icha'. hehe
N also immitates the single syllable babbling yg kita buat.
Cute!

Socially,
beautiful social smile.
Responds when calls her name.
be it alisha, cicha, isha, icha, alisha afiqah.
N yesh, ade stranger anxiety too.
(kesian you be able to held icha kejap je the other day..)

makanya, her developmental progress is appropriate for age.
She 7 months old now.

Below was the conversation between me n abul after he fetch me from airport n hantar me balik the other night. While having our late dinner sambil tgk icha main with her blue whale soft toy ngan atuk n uwa..

you: hmmm.... you, nak satu.. (with a cheeky fishy smile while looking at icha main)
me: what? that fish?? okey nnt ill look one for you. (i answer back ngan innocent nye.. then sambung makan..)
you: *dgn muke with the expression:~ ish dia nie.. fish pulak...*
me: *hehehehehe... how on earth cud i think he wanted a fish...*

"Little giant" sets record at hospital

That was one of the headlines by The New Sunday Times, Nov 09 on page 4.

So the baby was delivered in Hospital Sultanah Bahiyah, Alor Star, by C-section, birth weight 5.32kg with the initial estimated fetal weight of 3.5kg. Other important maternal conditions ware not stated. (Medical informations are confidential anyways)

Its weird. The way they put this story together was as if it was a competition to deliver little giants.

As I was reading that headline, the first thing that i think of was "My goodness. Was she a diabetic? (as most common cause of big baby is baby of diabetic moms) How bad was the control agaknye.." n various complications that the baby might had...

But alhamdulillah.. They said that both the mother and baby were fine.

ps: haihhh... jgn laa ade yg berangan nak give birth to the biggest baby so that dapat masuk paper pulak lepas nie...

i've survive the most dangerous transitional phase 24++ years ago from the safest and comfort intra-uterine life to the unpredictable non-protected extra-uterine environment.

even the journey of the few hours via the birth canal was potentially dangerous. so many things that could have gone wrong within that few hours. n yet i made it.

so, yes you can go through the exams ye cik mazlinda.
as if u've never been thru an exam before...
