Alhamdulillah..

Result dah keluar! Alhamdulillah... Pass semua. Tp ade je laa rasa tak puas hati n wish i would do better. hehe. tulaa... org suruh belajar betul2 takmo.

Ape2 pon, saya amat2 bersyukur.. Lega.

Terima kasih pada mak abah n ahli keluarga n rakan2 mendoakan kejayaan saye. ;)

owh!!! exam result masih tak di release lg!

at the moment, saya dgn bersemangat ke cyber cafe kt ttdi nie semata2 nak nk tgu result.

supposedly kt one of the kopitiam dkt area rumah abg ade wifi. tp td kedai tu mcm takde harapan nak bukak je... so abg suruh kami ke sini.

tapi tgk2 belom release lg... dah nearly 1 hour i waited! haha. takde keje kan melepak kt c-c.

but, hopefully it turn out okey. musti ok. abah ada kt sebelah nie.... ;p

Freedom?

Exams are finally over. The 3 longest week of my life has finally come to the end.
I was quite calm in the beginning of it, but was depressed towards the end and become almost catatonic and obtunded at the end of the medicine OSCE exams and become very2 labile when the exams was officially over. Haihhh.... ntah laa.. it did not end like what i wanted. But i still hope it was not too bad.. InsyaAllah..

So, tomorow is the viva for medicine. Im just gonna do some reading.. just in case i was called. hmmm.....

Then will head back to seremban.

As for abah, the CABG procedure went well. Was discharged home on day 6 post operation.. Alhamdulillah... Yesterday, abang bwk abah ke clinic for STO(suture to open). N they noted the incision site was a bit 'wet'. Takut infected ke ape (nauzubillah..) so maybe kene dtg lagi nak tgk n buat dressing n all.. Otherwise, abah is quite stable..


Hmmm.... exam dah habis. Tapi kenapa tak terasa lega.....

Long case at 0815. later in the afternoon at 1450 OSCE pula. seram sejuk lah pulak... haisshhh....

moga2 dipermudahkan urusan esok... amin.....

CABG Part 2

Last weekend, sy & adik beradik yg lain habiskan masa berulang putrajaya-IJN luangkan masa bersama abah. N yesterday, before flying back to penang, sempat melawat abah lagi. n kami temankan abah tgk video (patient education video) as to prepare the patient for surgery. what they shud espect to happen before, during and after the operation. i would say that the session was very beneficial. plain n simple. n the nurse was very helpful.

About abah, he is having the angina more frequent lately.. Otherwise, Alhamdulillah, keadaan abah stabil. N abah macam biasa, tak pernah tunjuk sakit yg dia rasa.

Tomorrow, InsyaAllah abah will undergo the surgery as planned. Semoga semua urusan dipermudahkan n the surgery went well... Terasa sgt nak temankan mak abah n lain2 di IJN. Tapi i have to prepare for my finals.. Ujian untuk saya..

Anyways, the viva list for Family Medicine was out. I wasnt called for the viva. Tak tahu lah nak rasa relief or not. Its still a 50-50 chance to pass or fail. InsyaAllah... harap2nya semua okey..

But apa2 pon, need to concentrate for the clinicals pula next week. n after that, baru boleh balik n jumpa abah. i must do well.

CABG

Update about abah.

Today, earlier this morning around 9am, the angiography was done. Unfortunately, abah has quite extensive blockage (3 vessels disease) involving the left main stem and according to what abah was told, the blockage was nearly 90%. So it would be a very high risk if nak buat stenting. Makanya, abah will be scheduled for the CABG (Coronary Artery Bypass Grafting) on a later date..

Hmmm... n later today, ill be flying back. Tapi tak sempat juge nak visit abah today. Visiting hours dah habis. Tak apelah.. let abah rest. Esok saja.

N today juge, i had my Family Medicine Exam. Tak tau nak ckp apa. Tawakal je dah sekarang..

InsyaAllah.. Semua akan baik2 aje.. Doakan kesihatan abah saya.

Kenapa diorg kene set paper medicine mcm tu....

Kalau Hari-Hari pon Exam...

pasti saya dapat osteoarthritis of the prooximal and distal interphalangeal joint or the hands!!

hehe. yelaa.. mana tak nya, this morning exam written surgery. Time given for that paper 2jam.
There's 4 sections. first 2, each ada 2 stem. last 2 ada 3 stem. So, basically each questions ada about 10-15mins je nak jawab. Dah tu each question ask for a few stuff pulak tu! Byk tu nak kena tulis! Ohh..... if only tambah 15mins je lagi... hihihi. But the paper was not too bad, but i know i could do much better. haihh... hopefully it will turn out okey. InsyaAllah....

Then later in the afternoon ada MEQ pulak. the modified essay questions. tak igt dah berapa section. I think around 5 or 6 kot. each section was timed. bell bunyi, taruk kertas kat bawah. bell bunyi lagi sambung new section. a lil bit like static osce.

but yg nak cerita nya, this MEQ, soalan nye bukan nye core surgery! i mean bukan setakat signs n symptoms je laa. byk yg more general Qs... ye2 i know, treat the patient holistically. i haven't forget about that yet.. pastu for first 2 Qs soalan medicine! pastu tanya steps in scrubbing! pastu tanya pasal anaes! pastu siap tanya the exact surgical steps nak buat hernia repair. ohhh... okey yg nie mmg core laa.. but then tak de laa espect nak tanya soalan mcm tu kan, huhuhuhu.... hmmm... harap2 nye okey... hmmm... risau....

lepas sejam sambung ngan MCQ, EMQ n Data. mcm biasa MCQ & EMQ is constantly confusing in nature. haha. Data pulak ade ke suruh interprete CT scan! double adoi! dok hafal x-ray findings dia bg CT scan. CT scan abdomen pulak tu. semua nmpk sama. hehe. kira mcm... "hmmmm... yg nie mcm liver je... pastu yg tu mcm gallbladder.. yg tepi tu mcm rupa pancrease. gall bladder mcm distended. pancrease mcm inflammed. mungkin ada stone kot!" okey so mcm tu laa 'intelligent-guess' yg saya buat. harap2 nye mengena. the 2nd CT scan tak igt hentam apa. *dushh!* sibbaik 1 markah je interprete CT scan.

but ape2 pon, satu paper dah selesai. next is medicine!! nie lagi laa risau. medicine is legion. n generally, exam Qs for medicine is relatively more difficult. byk weh nak kene cover!! head to toe. infectious dz lg... Finish revising A, then start C pulak. try recall A dah tak igt! Yg B pulak tertinggal. adei2...... tp ada hati nak jadi physician. haha.

okey2.. i need my rest now. later tonite nak start final round medicine. doakan saya je. =)
