TEN TIPS FOR STAYING HEALTHY (Dave Gordon, 1999)
1. Dont be poor. If u can stop! if u cant, try not to be poor for long.
(haha.. kinda amusing. but somehow true. if u're too poor, u're prone to more illness n diseases. n u might not afford to see a GP or buy medicine or even to get proper food! n so those who have extra $$, why not bayar zakat/bersedekah to help those in need.)
2. Dont have poor parents! (hoish!! as if u can choose who ur parents are. haha)
3. Own a car. (yeah... i'd love to. but i hate to drive. so wuts the point of having one?? maybe ill learn to love to drive one day. hehe)
4. Dont work in a stressful (owh, being a doctor is stressful enuff), low paid (maybe not low paid tho) manual (hurmm.. maybe partially manual kot. ye ke?? hehe) job!
5. Dont live in a damp, low quality housing.
6. Be able to be afford for a foreign holidays n sunbathe. (huhu... another point to say dont be poor!)
7. Practice not losing ur job! n dont become unemployed!! (another way for not to be poor)
8. Take up all the benefits u'r entitled to, if u'r unemployed, sick or disabled. (lets be an apportunist ppl!!)
9. Dont live next to major busy road or near a polluting industrial areas.
10. Learn how to fill in the complex housing benefit/ asylum application form before u become a homeless or destitude! (hehe.. prepare for the worst....!)
